What is the payment method?
Dymocks Books accepts Mastercard, VISA, American Express, PayPal, and Afterpay.
When will my order arrive?
The Estimate Delivery Date is when your order is expected to arrive at your chosen delivery location.
Once you have submitted your order you will receive confirmation and status update emails.
If you order multiple items and they are not all in stock, they will advise you of their anticipated arrival times.
For items not readily available, they’ll provide ongoing estimated ship and delivery time frames.
Once your order has been dispatched from their Sydney warehouse you will receive an Order Shipped status email. This will contain your tracking information
All their estimates are based on business days and assume that shipping and delivery don’t occur on holidays and weekends.
I want to change the delivery address. What do I do?
If you would like to change the delivery address of your order or add/remove items from your order, please contact Dymocks Books.
Please note that if you wish to change the delivery address, or cancel any items after the order has been shipped, you may be charged any delivery costs for the returned items. Please ensure that the delivery address for your order is correct. Dymocks Books is unable to refund or replace your order unless the order is returned by the recipient.
If you would like to change the payment details for your order, please DO NOT send payment information via email. Contact them and they will send a send you a secure link for you to update your payment details online, or they will contact you by phone.
I want to cancel my order. What do I do?
If you wish to cancel your order, please contact them as early as possible. If an order is yet to be invoiced than it can generally be stopped prior to leaving their warehouse. However, if the status of the item is in invoice, packed or shipped this becomes more difficult to stop. They will advise you of the status of your order during our correspondence. Please note that you will incur the return costs if your order does fall in one of the above statutes and cannot be stopped.
Dymocks Books Online will take all measures to fulfil your order. If the items you ordered are not available in their warehouse, they will attempt to order from the supplier. They have suppliers based locally, interstate and internationally. If they cancel the item from your order, as the supplier was out of stock, the item is out of print or for any other reason based on not being able to supply the title/s they will inform you via email.
What is Dymocks Books‘s returns policy?
At Dymocks Books you can shop with confidence.
Items that are faulty, unsafe or do not match their description will be refunded or exchanged where proof of purchase is provided. They are also happy to provide a refund where the goods are returned within 60 days of purchase unused, in original condition, accompanied by proof of purchase and do not fall within the exceptions.
Dymocks Books do not offer a discretionary exchange or refunds on Stationery, Educational Study Aids, Gift Cards, Special Orders, Calendars, Diaries, Bulk Orders or Sale Items. They also do not offer a discretionary exchange or refunds on CDs or DVDs where the seal or packaging is not intact.
Any goods purchased by a customer from any Dymocks Books store using Afterpay must be returned to the original store of purchase only.
What do I do if I want to return items from an online order?
To return an online order within the refund policy period, please contact Dymocks Books and they will then give you instructions on how best to return your order so they can process your refund.
